JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-08-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,149,448,341,323,307,379,504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner came asking the informant to open the door, entered into the room, abused the inforant by calling the caste name and assaulted him with iron rod and iron pipe. It is further alleged that the accused persons took away seven thousand rupees from the bag of the informant. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31362 of 2015 (2) dt.04-08-2015 2/2 that the informant is Junior Engineer and due to the dispute with regard to the contract the accusation has been levelled. More over, the injury has been found to be simple.

Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Madhubani Town P.S. Case No. 228 of 2014 pending in the court of learned C.J.M. Madhubani.

This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
