The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a)(d) and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 7.4.2022 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 57532 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 14.7.2021.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

No.42527 of 2022(2) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner, the liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 7.4.2022 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year since 14.7.2021, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Rajauli P.S. Case no. 356 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J-II, Nawada.
