Petitioner and some others were caught on the spot and some motorcycles were seized from the place of occurrence and one co-accused disclosed that motorcycle bearing registration no. B.R.31.L.480 belongs to petitioner. Moreover, only one mobile is said to have been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner, who does not have any criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 02.08.2016.
