In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 46 of 2013 registered for offence under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. When the informant was returning from school, one accused person back of 'Pulsar' motor cycle bearing No. BR11D/9753 on the point of knife and threat of her life, snatched the golden chain and ring from her.

In the first informant report, the informant herself has given the motor cycle number and later on, during investigation, it was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, but the colour of motor cycle was changed to tamper the evidence.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39269 of 2016 (3) dt.19-09-2016 In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is rejected. However, liberty is given to the petitioner, he may renew his prayer for bail after completion of one year of jail-custody. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
