The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with G.O. Case No. 68 of 2017, dated 20.2.2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation against the petitioner is with regard to him possessing only 47 litres of Nepali country made liquor and the same having been recovered by the police while he was transporting the same from Nepal to India.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 21.7.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29130 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum- Special Judge, Madhubani in connection G.O.
