JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 14-03-2023 After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and the State, this Court is not persuaded to pass any order for the simple reason that the petitioner is not clear in his approach in the matter of reliefs prayed in this Court.

In the writ application, the case of the petitioner is that he is entitled to be considered for promotion to the Upper Division Clerk in the light of Government Notification as contained in Notification No. 821 dated 23.03.2021 but by filing a supplementary affidavit the petitioner has vaguely stated that

Patna High Court CWJC No.10862 of 2022(3) dt.14-03-2023 2/2 there is a scale of Rs. 4000 - 6000/- for the Lower Division Clerk. At the same time, he is also making statement that he was appointed on the post of Lower Division Clerk and is getting the LDC Scale. The statements made in the supplementary affidavit has no coherence with the main relief prayed in the writ application.

This Writ Application has, thus, no merit. It is dismissed but with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedy before the competent authority.
