JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 12-07-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 234 of 2015, registered for offences punishable under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is husband of the deceased and allegation against him that he caused dowry death of the deceased. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though petitioner is husband, however, no specific allegation has been attributed to him and in this case now four witnesses have been examined and nothing has come against the petitioner. further petitioner has been in judicial custody since14.12.2015. Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that in this case, the trial is at concluding stage. Having heard both sides, considering the facts and

No.27268 of 2017 (2) dt.12-07-2017 2/2 circumstances and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, his application for regular bail is, accordingly, rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of four months and if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the Trial Court itself.
