ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 11-01-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the State as well as the learned counsel for the informant.

The petitioner is in custody since 26.7.2013 in connection with S.T. No.17/2014, arising out of Paliganj P.S. Case No.212/2013, G.R. No.2237/2013, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, which is pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Danapur. Earlier the case of the petitioner for grant of regular bail was rejected by this Court in Cr. Misc. No.16959 of 2014, vide order dated 16.12.2014. By the present application, the petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail.

No.47335 of 2016 (3) dt.11-01-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner is in jail custody for a long time, the trial is not progressing and he is being seriously prejudiced. Considering the entire facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for bail made on behalf of the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected. However, since two of the witnesses have already been examined and the trial is proceeding, it is directed that the trial of the present case be expedited and the same be concluded within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
