The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kotwali (Tilkamanjhi) P.S. Case No. 696 of 2013 instituted under Sections 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The said case was instituted on the self-statement of the Officer-in-charge of Tilkamanjhi Police Station alleging that the petitioner and three others had opened forged accounts in the Bank and suspicious transactions were made therein. Learned Sessions Judge, on perusal of the case diary, has found that transactions of huge amount in those accounts were made. The petitioner just pleaded no knowledge of those transactions.

In my view, it is not a case where the privilege of anticipatory bail should be granted to the petitioner. Prayer is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29274 of 2014 (4) dt.19-05-2015 2/2 rejected. Let the petitioner surrender and pray for regular bail. In that event, the learned Court below shall consider his case on its own merit uninfluenced by the present order.
