JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 07-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

Petitioners, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with K.Nagar (Sri Nagar) P.S. Case No. 33 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. A bare perusal of the First Information Report would show that these two petitioners were allegedly involved in taking away the deceased and assaulting him which led to his death. The place of occurrence is the house of the petitioner no. 1. Considering the gravity of the offence and materials on record, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioners at this stage.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28419 of 2017 (2) dt.07-07-2017 Accordingly, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The court has been informed that charge-sheet has already been filed, if it is so, the court below shall proceed to pass necessary orders so that the trial may be concluded within a reasonable time.
