The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Risiup P.S. Case No. 56 of 2021 registered under Sections 420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case merely because he is the owner of the vehicle. Further submission is that petitioner had given his Bolero pickup to co-accused persons Shankar Ravidas and Benjmin Maraandi for one day but when they did not return the vehicle, the petitioner lodged a complaint in Vishnugadh Police Station, Hazaribagh, as is evident from Annexure-2 to the bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50463 of 2021(2) dt.12-04-2022 2/2 petition. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of the Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad in connection with Risiup P.S.
