The petitioner prays for bail in connection with Magadh Medical P.S. Case No. 122 of 2013 registered under section 307 IPC.

All the accused persons armed with Lathi, Danda, Iron rod etc. are said to have assaulted the daughter of the informant and thereafter entered into the house and assaulted several family members of the informant. Specific allegation against the petitioner is of having assaulted one Mahesh Yadav by means of Lathi. Mahesh Yadav received injury caused by hard & blunt substance. That apart, the case was lodged naming the petitioner on 29.10.2013 whereas from the statements made in the bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47996 of 2016 (2) dt.25-11-2016 2/2 application, it appears that the petitioner submitted to the jurisdiction of the court on 05.09.2016. Since then he is stated to be in custody.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the Court, for the present, is not inclined to extend the petitioner the privilege of bail. Prayer is accordingly rejected.
