The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Dhamdaha P.S.Case No. 207 of 2015 registered under Sections 304B, 201 and 120B/34 of the Indian penal Code. Allegation in brief is that for realization of dowry, accused persons used to assault his daughter and killed her by poisoning.

Submission is that marriage was solemnized five years back and there is no any demand of dowry in specific terms and even the informant in his statement under Section 161 Cr.P.C. has not stated that any demand of dowry was made prior to death and there is also material to show that this petitioner brought the deceased to doctor's clinic and informed his mother-in-law and in

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Niraj Mandal @ Niraj Kumar Mandal, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Dhamdaha P.S.
