Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, it came to light that the Sim card through which demand of extortion money was made had been used by four persons and petitioner is said to be one out of the aforesaid four persons. It is submitted that on the basis of aforesaid material as well as recovery of mobile phone from the shop of the petitioner, he has been made accused in this case. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45980 of 2016 (3) dt.02-12-2016 2/2 well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No. 171 of 2016.
