2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 716 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is of killing the deceased, who was his wife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2023.

5. Learned counsel for the State and the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39683 of 2026(2) dt.22-06-2026 2/2 application. The learned counsel for the informant submits that in the trial, all the witnesses have been examined and the trial is on the verge of conclusion.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the trial is on the verge of conclusion, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands dismissed.

8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
