JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-07-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the present writ application is being filed for direction upon the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioner over his land, which he has purchased by registered Sale Deed but the same is being encroached by some ante-social elements and the standing crops are also looted by them, with the help of Circle Officer, Circle-2, Bagaha and one of the staff of the Circle Officer namely Sohen Uraon, who is also posted in the Circle Office, Bagaha.

That the details of the land of the petitioner,

Patna High Court CWJC No.9866 of 2024(2) dt.29-07-2024 2/2 which is being encroached by the ante-social elements and standing crops are being looted are as follows :- (A). Khata No. 3, Khesra No. 43, Area -1 Acre 67.56 Decimal (Eight Kattha and Eighteen Dhur). B). Khata No. 10, Khesra No. 42, Area 2, Kattha and 08 Dhur.

It is stated that both the plots are adjoining to each other and the ante-social elements have also blocked the approach road to the aforesaid joint plot and they are not permitting the petitioner to even go over his plot or cultivate any crops." 2.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondent No. 3 i.e. the Superintendent of Police, Bagaha, District-West Champaran, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
