The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/323/504/506/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged against the petitioner being father of the informant to have assaulted the father-in-law of the informant with 'lathi' on his head and both the eyes. The injuries have been found to be grievous.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the background of land dispute the accusation has been levelled. There is counter version of the occurrence. There is no accusation of repeating the blow.
The aforesaid facts may constitute good ground for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30959 of 2015 (2) dt.03-08-2015 2/2 consideration of prayer for regular bail.
Let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Simultalla P.S. Case No.20 of 2015, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.
With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
