In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 936 of 2019 arising out of Ara Nawada P.S. Case No. 330 of 2019 registered for offences under sections 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 of the Indian Penal Code.

The police has seized a pickup van standing in front of the house of Vipul Singh and, on search, huge quantity of English wine of different brands were recovered. The papers were also found from the vehicle from which it was disclosed that the present petitioner is the owner of the pickup van. Looking to the recovery of huge quantity of liquor
