The petitioner prays for bail in Jokihat P.S. Case No. 211 of 2015 registered under sections 395 and 397 IPC. While the informant, it is alleged, was returning home after collection of dues, four unknown person intercepted/waylaid and under threat of life relieved him of his cash. He was also inflicted some injury.
It is stated that in course of investigation co-accused Md. Imteyaz, on being arrested, named the petitioner as one of his associates. Said Md. Imteyaz has been granted bail vide order dated 29.04.2016. The petitioner is in custody since 18.06.2016.

Counsel for the State pointed to two criminal cases pending against the petitioner. It is stated that in one of the cases he has been set at liberty. Co-accused Md. Imteyaz has also few criminal cases to his credit, but has been released on bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Araria in Jokihat P.S. Case No. 211 of 2015 on condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his own/close family member. In the event of framing of charge, the petitioner shall appear in person on each date fixed at the trial. In case of default in doing so on two consecutive dates, the trial court shall have liberty to cancel his bail bonds and secure his arrest in accordance with law. (Kishore Kumar Mandal, J) HR/- U T
