The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bakhri PS case no. 45 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The case of the prosecution is that while the police force was on patrolling duty, they got information that liquor was being sold at village Goriyari. The police is said to have conducted raid at the house of the petitioner and recovered illicit liquor. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that house, from where the recovery is said to have been made, is a joint property, petitioner has clean antecedent and is in custody

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Anil Kumar, Addl. Sessions Judge-VIIth, Begusarai-cum-Special Judge, Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016 in connection with Bakhri PS case no. 45 of 2017. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J.) rinkee/- U T
