The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Chapra Muffasil P. S. Case No. 215 of 2020, dated 23.05.2020, instituted for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38013 of 2020(2) dt.15-04-2021 2/3 offences under Sections 143, 323, 307, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Though the petitioners are said to have assaulted the informant and one of his associates, but the injuries suffered by them are stated to be simple in nature. The occurrence took place because of dispute over passage of drain water. There is a counter version of the occurrence also, lodged by the father of the petitioners in which the petitioners have also been injured. Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioners and the background facts, they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra, in connection with Chapra Muffasil P. S. Case
