Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20 N.D.P.S. Act. 1 Kg and 800 Gms of Charas was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. On forensic examination, identity of the Narcotic has already been established. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 11.08.2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is mentioned in the FIR itself that the petitioner was paid carrier.

No.37841 of 2019(5) dt.25-09-2019 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation and material available, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with N.D.P.S.Case No.34 of 2018 arising out of N.C.B. Case No.40 of 2018 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran. Hence, prayer is refused.

Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
