Petitioner is accused in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 98 of 2016 registered under Sections 147, 149, 323, 354(B), 498(A), 120(B), 504, 379 and 509 of the I.P.C. The accusation is that the petitioner and others named in the F.I.R. misbehaved the informant and outraged her modesty.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent. There is general and omnibus allegation is alleged against the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 07.08.2016.
