The petitioner seeks bail in Kurhani P.S. Case No. 18/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that his daughter was strangulated to death by her husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. Marriage was solemnized seven years ago. The petitioner has no manner of concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. Lallan Choudhary husband of the petitioner has been granted bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. 16645/2017 by a coordinate bench of this court. The

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27826 of 2017 (2) dt.30-06-2017 case of the petitioner stands on the same footing. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that fatherin-law has already been granted bail by a coordinate bench of this court and petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge Ist, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Kurhani P.S. Case No. 18/2016.
