The petitioner is an accused in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.52 of 2021 registered under Section 376/506 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act and Section 65/67 of the Information Technology Act presently pending before the Exclusive Special Judge (POCSO), Darbhanga.

Taking into account the allegations that the lady has levelled against the petitioner, this Court does not deem it fit and proper to grant the privilege of bail. The counsel for the petitioner submits that as he is in judicial custody since May 2021, at least direction for conclusion of trial may be given.
