2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No. 17 of 2023 registered under Sections 147, 342, 323, 307, 386, 504, 354(B), 506 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Earlier the bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 24.01.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 2542 of 2024 which reads as follows:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 147, 342, 323, 307, 386, 504, 354(B), 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of demanding extortion of Rs. 2 Lakh and firing at the victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.02.2023. The petitioner and the informant are the co-villager.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner has 11 criminal antecedents of similar and serious nature

6. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is dismissed.

7. The District Judge, Begusarai is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases which are pending against the petitioner in the district of Begusarai.

8. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Judge, Begusarai through FAX for its compliance forthwith.

4. No ground for review is made out.
