JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-08-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is languishing in jail since 02.07.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the NDPS Act.
From the carrier of the motorcycle of the petitioner, 11/2 kgs of ganja were recovered.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was not aware about the ganja being kept in the carrier of the motorcycle. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Mr. J.N. Thakur, learned counsel for the State does not dispute the quantum of recovery.

Case No. 200 of 2016.
