The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Thakurganj P. S. Case No. 20 of 2019 giving rise to Special Case No. 6 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 17, 18 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act and 489 (C) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Approximately 14,800/- counterfeit currency and 600 gm. of opium is said to have been recovered from the possession of petitioner.

Many grounds have been urged on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail including his period of custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42999 of 2019(3) dt.27-09-2019 2/2 which is from 08.02.2019.

However, considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.

The petition is dismissed.
