The petitioner seeks bail in Rajoun P.S. Case No. 326 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 328 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that his sister was married to the petitioner but immediately after marriage the petitioner and his family members subjected his sister to different sorts of torture. The petitioner was also assaulting her. The informant further alleged that on 22.09.2016 the petitioner and his family members administered poison to his sister and killed her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and no specific allegation is made against the petitioner but it appears that the petitioner is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15766 of 2017 (4) dt.28-06-2017 2/2 alleged to have administered poison to his wife causing her death and the viscera is sent to FSL for examination. Considering the facts aforesaid and the facts that the petitioner is the husband and there is allegation that it was the petitioner who administered poison to the deceased causing her death, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt of this order holding the trial on day-to-day basis. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) KKSINHA/- U T
