The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rajnagar P.S. Case No. 356 of 2021 (S.T. No. 327 of 2022) registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is accused of committed road robbery.

The petitioner has not been identified in the Test Identification Parade and he is in custody since 19.01.2022. Co-accuse Prahalad Kumar Singh has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 53847 of 2022 vide order dated 23.12.2022.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41876 of 2023(2) dt.14-07-2023 2/2 for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, VIIIth, Madhubani in connection with Rajnagar P.S. Case No. 356 of 2021. The petitioner will visit concerned Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
