The petitioners seek bail in Case No. C2-249 of 2017 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
126 litres of foreign liquor worth Rs. 14,700/- is said to have been recovered from the joint possession of the petitioners. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have committed no offence and they have been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioners and they have got no criminal antecedent. The petitioners are
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26464 of 2017 (3) dt.13-06-2017 2/2 languishing in custody since 22.04.2017.
Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Case No. C2-249 of 2017.
