JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 05-02-2021 Heard Mr. Amit Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bettiah Mahila P. S. Case No. 14 of 2020 dated 20.03.2020, instituted for offences under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 506 and 497 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is the husband of the informant and is in custody since 02.06.2020.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the informant herself has deserted him but despite this, he is ready to settle the matrimonial

Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. - VI, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Bettiah Mahila P. S. Case No. 14 of 2020. The petition stands allowed.
