The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 69 of 2017, dated 25.03.2017, registered under Sections 30(A), and 38 (1) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation leveled against the petitioner is with regard to recovery of several bottles of liquor from the sack being in the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent, and has no criminal antecedent, he is in custody since 25.03.2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25628 of 2017 (3) dt.15-06-2017 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Samastipur, District- Samastipur, in connection with Excise Case No. 69 of 2017.
