The petitioner seeks bail in Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 225/2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395, 396, 397 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, section 376, 412 of the Indian Penal Code was added.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected on 28.02.2017 with a direction to the trial court to hold the trial on day to day basis and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt of this order.

It appears that the trial has not yet been concluded and the case is pending before the Additional Sessions Judge Ist, Saran at Chapra.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30478 of 2017 (3) dt.26-07-2017 2/2 charges have not yet been framed.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to hold the trial on day to day basis and conclude the same within the stipulated period as directed vide order dated 28.02.2017.
