This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Bagaha Pathkauli P.S. Case No. 349 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced before me an order dated 05.04.2021 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 4098/2021, by which similarly situated coaccused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.

Considering the evidence which have come during the investigation, in my considered opinion, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
