The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhanaha P.S. Case No. 89 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 395, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is accused of looting a Jewellery Shop along with other criminals.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not been put on Test Identification Parade and his name has come on confessional statement of a co-accused Ashwani Kumar Bharti, who has been granted bail and some other co-accused have also been granted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41673 of 2023(2) dt.14-07-2023 2/2 bail by different co-ordinate Benches of this Court. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing one year in custody, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. 1st Class, Bagaha, West Champaran in connection with Dhanaha P.S. Case No. 89 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit Dhanaha Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
