The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with lakhisarai P.S. Case no. 274 of 2018, registered under Sections 354, 354(a), (iv)/354(D), (II)/120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that informant has been assaulting mentally since four yours by the Dharmendra Kumar on the allurement of marriage. When informant pressurized him to solemnize marriage then he assured to perform marriage on completion of her graduation. After completing the graduation, the informant again made pressure to marry then on 12.05.2018, Dharmendra Kumar came from Pune and made call the informant to come at Ashok Dham Temple along with Adhar Card. Thereafter, informant reached at Ashok Dham

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40523 of 2019(2) dt.02-07-2019 2/2 Temple then saw petitioner, Dharmendra Kumar and one other present there and they demanded Rs. 15 Lakhs as dowry to perform marriage with the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the allegation has been made against the Dharmendra Kumar, brother of the petitioner, to give assurance to perform marriage to the complainant, but petitioner, being the brother of Dharmendra Kumar, has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 274 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438

(2) of the Cr.P.C.
