Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 376, 511 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is in jail custody since 22.7.2016 on the accusation that he along with co- accused dragged the informant towards wheat field with an intent to commit rape on her. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that even if the prosecution story assumed to be true, then also, no case under section 376 read with section 511 of the Indian Penal Code is made out and so far as rest sections are concerned, same are bailable in nature. It is further contended that the petitioner has been roped in this case on account of village politics.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on
