The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mashrakh P.S. Case No. 198 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Unknown persons have looted the informant on the point of gun. The name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Rocky Kumar Singh. The petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2024. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced the order dated 16.02.2024 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.6666 of 2024, by which the similarly situated co-accused namely, Tufan Ray @ Tufani Ray @ Ghanshyam

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47133 of 2024(4) dt.03-01-2025 2/2 Kumar has been granted bail by this Court.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner as well as the fact that co-accused has been granted bail by this Court, this bail application is allowed. 6.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, VI, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Mashrakh P.S. Case No.198 of 2017. 7.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner will mark his attendance in Parsa Police Station, District- Saran at Chapra on the first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
