The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special (NDPS) Case No. 06 of 2023 arising out of Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 1356 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 22(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2.96g of brown sugar has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner which is less than the small quantity and the petitioner is in custody since 04.11.2022. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.
