Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

About 86 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from the car on which the petitioner was there. Petitioner is in custody since 21.08.2020. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Investigation of the case against the petitioner is already complete.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37148 of 2020(2) dt.02-02-2021 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kuchaikot Police Station Case No. 324 of 2020, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
