Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21,20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S.Act.

According to FIR, 9.800 Kgs of brown sugar in different small packets was recovered from the four wheeler on which the petitioner and others were there. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent of identical nature. Petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the nature of allegation and available material, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present in connection with Special Case No.170 of 2019 (arising out of Pirbahore P.S.Case No.612 of 2019)pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Patna.

If the trial would not conclude within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, petitioner may renew prayer for bail before the learned court below itself.
