2. The petitioner who happens to be husband of O.P. No.2 is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1137 of 2021, wherein cognizance has been taken for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. This Court after having taken note of the allegation and the dispute, which arose on account of a family feud between the parties, relegated the matter to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for resolving the dispute.

4. Learned Mediator vide his report dated 16.10.2025 has apprised this Court that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. The terms of settlement mutually agreed upon them is also attached with the report.

5. Learned Advocate for O.P. No.2 also accepted the afore-noted contention.

6. Having considered the submissions advanced by the learned Advocate for the respective parties and taking note of the fact that the dispute between the petitioner and O.P. No.2 has already been resolved, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 5,000/- (Five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Patna City in connection with Complaint Case No.1137 of 2021, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, with further condition that one of the bailors shall be the own/close family members of the petitioner.
