Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(A) and 47(d) of New Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
Ten litres country made mahua liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner but petitioner is said to be escaped from his house at the time of raid. Petitioner is in jail custody since 06.08.2016 and admittedly, nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession. Moreover, charge sheet against the petitioner has already been submitted. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46840 of 2016 (2) dt.26-10-2016 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No. 225 of 2016.
