2. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to pay her compensation on account of death of her husband Late Umesh Pathak due to electrocution.

3. When the matter has been taken up for consideration on merit, a counter affidavit on behalf of Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd., Patna under SBPDCL, Patna, is being filed, after service of its copy upon the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, which is taken on the record. In the aforesaid counter affidavit, it has been stated that the claim of the petitioner besides others was taken up for consideration by South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (in short "the Company") and by order dated 11.02.2015 issued under the signature of the General Manager of the Company, the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.15869 of 2010 (4) dt.12-02-2015 2/2 has been directed to be paid Rs.1 lac by way of compensation as per the existing policy decision when the death of the husband of the petitioner had taken place. A copy of the aforesaid order dated 11.02.2015 has been brought on the record as part of AnnexureC/6 to the aforesaid counter affidavit, which is a letter addressed to the present petitioner.

4. In above view of the matter, the writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the Company and its functionaries to pay the amount of compensation as fixed by order dated 11.02.2015 within a maximum period of one month from today.
