The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 342, 323,504,506,406,494,498A,120B,307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner is husband of Opp.Party no.2.

The allegation is of demand of dowry and torture on Opp.Party no.2 as well as solemnisation of second marriage by the petitioner.

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39057 of 2019(4) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 anticipatory bail. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, the petitioner may appear before the court below and pray for regular bail.
