26-11-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.

The petitioner seeks bail in Shivsagar P.S. Case No. 57 of 2021, registered for the offence under Section 302, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., this petitioner alongwith other F.I.R. named accused persons killed the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of a 4-wheeler, as dowry. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is devar (brother-in-law) of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner lives separately and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and he is in custody since 09.06.2021. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
