The petitioner seeks bail in Piro (Hasan Bazar) Police Station (for brevity PS) Case No 187 of 2019 instituted for the offence punishable under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that four unknown miscreants have snatched money from the informant on the point of country made pistol.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that implication of the petitioner in this case is only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. It is submitted that it is a case of false implication and that the petitioner is in custody since 26.02.2020.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37247 of 2020(3) dt.23-02-2021 2/2 Learned APP for the State has drawn attention of the Court towards the disclosure of the petitioner made in paragraph 3 of the application wherein he has stated about 28 cases pending against him since before. Earlier petitioner was granted provisional bail by this Court in Cr Misc No 22669 of 2020 subject to verification of his antecedents. In course of verification, it has revealed that making a wrong submission, the petitioner had availed the privilege of bail. Having regard to the submissions advanced by the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.
