Case No. 27 of 1997. Offences punishable under sections 302 and 328/34 were alleged. Apprehending his arrest, the petitioner filed A.B.P. No. 2749 of 2013 in the court of District and Sessions Judge, East Champaran, Motihari. The same was rejected on 26-42014. Hence this petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P.for the State.

The allegation against the petitioner is serious in nature, and his name figured in the F.I.R. Truth or otherwise of the allegations against the petitioner need to be considered at the trial. This Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

If that is so, the petitioner can surrender before the court below and move an application for regular bail.
