This is an application for bail in connection with Andhramath P.S.Case No. 57 of 2016, G.R.No. 1079 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that except confessional statement there is nothing against him and he is in custody for about eight months. It has further been submitted that he has been made accused in two other cases also. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and considering the fact that this case relates to road robbery, I am not inclined to grant bail to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24979 of 2017 (3) dt.05-07-2017 2/2 petitioner.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same within nine months. If trial is not concluded within the said period, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
